Hagar’s 3rd grade students put their lessons on environmental conservation into action last week with a beach beatification trip near Beer Sheva. Prior to the trip, the students took part in classroom activities focused on the impact of plastic and other human pollution on natural resources including water. Each student suggested an activity for the class that would have a positive environmental effect and Omri’s suggestion to clean the beaches received the most student votes. Our students are the next generation of conservation advocates and leaders.
