Suha Ibrahim, School Principal
Suha holds an MA in educational administration and policy and a BA in Arab literature from The Hebrew University in Jerusalem. She has several years of experience in leading formal and informal educational initiatives, including a position as director of the Jewish-Arab educational program at the Bible Lands Museum in Jerusalem.
Claudia Kapluto, Preschool Teacher
Claudia, a Beer Sheva native, joins Hagar this year. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Education and Hebrew Literature from Ben-Gurion University and a teaching certificate in Early Education from Kay College. She is married and has one child.
Rada El-Ubra, Preschool Teacher
Rada holds a BEd from Kay College in Beer-Sheva. She has several years of experience as a preschool teacher in Rahat. For the past 2 years she has been acting as instructor and mentor of recently graduated teachers.
Mariam Al-Hmamdah, Substitute Teacher
Mariam is in her final year of a Bed in Education and Teacher Training at Kay College, Be’er Sheva. During her studies, she has worked in public kindergartens in Be’er Sheva and in Bedouin Arab towns in the Negev.
Najla Abdelhadi, Kindergarten Teacher
Najla holds a BEd from Gordon College. She is from Arara in the Galilee and has been teaching and heading preschools for several years.
Shachar Yaniv, Kindergarten Teacher
Shachar holds a BA in Hebrew Literature and Education from Ben-Gurion University. She completed her teaching training at Kay College in Beer-Sheva and has previous teaching experience in a kibbutz school and the multicultural school Meitarim in Beer-Sheva.

Teaching Assistants, Klodin, Yehudit and Irena, are employed by Hagar, all of whom are an integral part of the team. Since we believe that anyone who participates in the Hagar project should be involved in and aware of its unique mission and circumstances, our assistants undergo special training with the entire staff.
Nasreen Maslecha , First Grade Teacher
Nasreen comes from Kfar Qara in Northern Israel. She moved to Beer Sheva with her husband three years ago. Previously, she taught at an elementary school in the Alsid region. She is a graduate of Beit Berl College in Early Childhood Education.
Maayan Elimelech, First Grade Teacher
Maayan completed her B.A. from Sapir College in Education and Hebrew Literature and has previously worked in various educational settings. Last year, she began studying in a program at Kay College in Early Childhood. This is the second and final year of her program as she completes her practicum. She is originally from Beer Sheva, married and a mother of two children.
